DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\nASE Optics Europe specializes in engineering and dev
 elopment of precision optical\, optomechanical and optoelectronic systems.
  From concept design to manufacturing\, we work closely with the customer 
 to advance in the development of his product\, quickly and efficiently. We
  create optical devices considering all the different aspects and requirem
 ents: material properties\, manufacturing techniques\, costs\, available t
 echnologies and other restrictions that might affect the project.&rdquo\;\
 nBIO Thomas Siegel:\nMasters in physics (2006) and PhD in quantum optics a
 nd laser science (2010)\, both from Imperial College London. Research care
 er furthered by one year of postdoc in the cold plasma group in UNAM\, Mex
 ico (2011-2012) and three years of postdoc at Imperial College London (201
 0-2011 then 2012 - 2014). Through these years in academia\, built a solid 
 knowledge and understanding of lasers\, light handling systems and synchro
 nisation techniques down to the attosecond timescale.\nHead of R&amp\;D at
  ASE Optics Europe (2014 - ongoing) in charge of the R&amp\;D team and ECQ
 A-certified EU project manager. Together with the rest of the R&amp\;D tea
 m\, have developed optical systems for many applications\, such as medical
 \, defence and large scientific installations. Technical background enabli
 ng the rapid finding of effective solutions to the problematics\, and a th
 orough time-keeping of the team&rsquo\;s deadlines to ensure the timely de
