 ) and Harvard (2000-2011). Since\n2012\, he serves as the Villum Kann Rasm
 ussen Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute\,\nUniversity of Copenhagen. H
 e is the Director of the Center for Quantum Devices\, a Center\nof Excelle
 nce sponsored by the Danish National Research Foundation\, and Director of
 \nStation Q Copenhagen sponsored by Microsoft Research.\nMarcus’s resear
 ch focuses on quantum mechanically coherent electronics\, including\nconfi
 ned spins semiconductors\, Josephson qubits\, fractional quantum Hall syst
 ems\, and\nMajorana systems. The long-term research goal is to explore lar
 ge-scale interconnected\nquantum coherent systems with applications in qua
 ntum information processing.
